On Friday, October 29, children, parents and grandparents of the village got together to start a new vegetable garden. The garden, an initiative of the municipal committee, is located on public land, almost at the center of the village, next to the soccer field. The mild weather of late October and early November, just before the winter rains, is the perfect time of year for planting. Now, we only need to keep the beds well irrigated and free of weeds , and watch the young seedlings grow! - Special thanks to Rita Boulos, Eitan Kremer and all who made the garden a reality.
